His photographs chronicling the Cuban Revolution, many first published in Life Magazine, won the Overseas Press Club and Sigma Delta Chi awards in 1958. His work also appeared in Esquire, Harper's, Look, the London Sunday Telegraph, among others, and on network television. (Source: Obituary)
