A similar long-term project in the United States led to her second book 'I am about to call it a day', co-published in 2014 by Edition Patrick Frey and Hannibal. Currently Bieke undertakes various works, such as In Between, where she is photographing in the intimacy of Egyptian Families. She joined Magnum Photos as a nominee in July 2012 and became an associate Member in 2014.
